Lazy Day

Today is one of those days when both Captain Underpants and Super Diaper Baby don't feel like doing much. Captain Underpants went to school and he bought home a thank you card from the birthday party that he attended. When I got home, Super Diaper baby was still in her pajamas. Captain Underpants did not want to go to basketball practice and I had to yell at him and tell him that it cost money. Daddy says he doesn't have to go so in his mind he just wanted to stay home. He ended up doing more Math and reading his book club book. Also, today is his cousing W's 5th birthday and we called to sing him a birthday song and talked to him. He is so CUTE.
Captain Underpants is currently in the third grade and his teacher is Mrs. Z. He is attending a magnet school and the best part is that he does not change schools until the 7th grade. That means he'll have long lasting friendships. His favorite subjects are science and math and he loves recess and lunch. He plays for Royal Oak Hockey and is a mite and he is pretty good since it's not even 3 years yet. His team this year is the Great White Sharks and the team is doing pretty well. Next weekend, we will be heading to Port Huron to play in a tournament. His coach asked him if he'll goalie most of the the games. However, he is good in defense and offense so he was needed back more on defense. One of the things that he really need help on is stick handling. We'll see if he keeps it up since he really love football. Football starts the same time as hockey and training is very intensive. He'll just have to pick one or the other.
At this movement, Super Diaper Baby is watching Hi-5. It's mostly singing of songs that introduces kids to new things and words. Ron, a parent from her preschool told me about this show that is on WOW demand. It's pretty good and she was singing and dancing to it. Super Diaper Baby loves to sing and dance. Considering that she is a toddler, she is pretty good.
